Save Money - Buy Through The Internet
Gold jewellery prices from internet jewellers are much lower than High Street prices.

Lets take a simple example:-
A 9 carat gold one ounce chain sells at £199 in a well known discount catalogue showroom, but only £153 from Chard's 9 Carat Gold website (www.9carat.co.uk). That's over 20% saving. In branches of many of the largest multiple jewellery retailers, they don't know or won't tell you the weight even if you ask! We shopped around and found similar bracelets retailing at £300 and over. One worked out at £480.

So how do the internet jewellers do it!
There's no big secret. Some are small dealers, probably working from home, and selling a limited range of goods. In our case we've been around for 35 years selling gold by mail order. We don't pay 6 figure High Street rents. We just sell high quality products at good value prices. Increasingly I believe we will see small specialist jewellers selling their goods direct to consumers world-wide via the internet.

The Internet - A New Development
Previously, only a few local people, and mail order customers, knew about us. Now thanks to the internet, we receive daily enquiries world-wide. We believe that the internet can help shoppers to find incredible bargains which are not available in the High Street stores or supermarkets, including but not limited to gold jewellery and diamond rings.
We saw a telling comment in Irwin Stelzer's "American Account" in the 19th September Sunday Times Business section "Customers...have more options, more bargaining power, lower prices - perhaps some day even in Britain, the home of the world's most supine consumers and, therefore, of some of the world's highest prices."
